William E. Whitney, (George Washington, Ransford, Samuel), son of George Washington and Elizabeth M. (Munyan) Whitney, was born Jun 1872, Hopedale, MA (recorded Milford, MA [given name omitted]),[1] and died after 1900.

He married, 26 Jun 1890, Hopedale, MA, Ida E. Bacon, daughter of George and Mary (Wark) Bacon.[2] She was born about 1871, Milford, MA
