He married Eliza Jane -----. She was born circa 1827, TN, and died after 1860, perhaps TX. She married, secondly, ----- Gibson, who apparently died before 1860.

i. J. M. A. Whitney, b. ca. 1850, AR. He was perhaps the James Whitney, b. ca. 1850, AR, enumerated in Hopkins Co., TX in 1880. ii. W. R. Whitney, b. ca. 1854, AR.
