William Harrison7 Whitney (Calvin6, Jonathan5, James4, Joseph3, Jonathan2, John1), son of Calvin6 and Polly (Williams) Whitney, was born 12 Mar 1816, Hartland, VT, and died 29 Aug 1882, Bladensburg, IA.

He married firstly, 17 Sep 1840, Summit Co., OH, Mary Bixby, daughter of Norridon and Mary (Price) Bixby. She was born 6 Mar 1821, OH, and died 28 Jan 1853, Port Hope, WI.

He married secondly, 27 May 1854, Fairwater, WI, Louisa M. Tinkham, daughter of Owen and Janna (-----) Tinkham. She was born about 1818, NY, and died 20 May 1861, Columbia Co., WI.

He married thirdly, 23 Apr 1863, Portage, WI, Maria Louisa Spear, daughter of Zuri B. and Rhoda (Barber) Spear. She was born 14 Jul 1820, Burlington, VT, and died 7 Feb 1898, Bladensburg, IA.
