William Henry7 Whitney (Henry6, Benjamin5, Daniel4, Benjamin3, John2, John1), son of Henry6 and Hannah (Tombs) Whitney, was born 18 Jan 1779, Watertown, MA, died 8 Aug 1853, Aurora, Erie County, NY.

He "Henry" married, 22 or 23 Jun 1800, Dummerston, VT, Fanny Miller,[1] daughter of William and Hannah (Worden) Miller. She was born 31 Mar 1783, and died 24 Sep 1861, Aurora, NY. Her death is recorded on 21 Sep 1861, Adams, MA, aged 76, of consumption.[2]

They resided Dummerston, VT.

iv. Lydia Whitney, b. 14 Feb 1807, Dummerston, VT; d. 18 Jul 1838, Hingham, MA; m. 23 Oct 1828, Dummerston, VT, Jeremiah "Jerry" Perry.[5] She was still living in 1855 in Aurora, NY, so the death record must be wrong. Perhaps it was the husband who died in 1838.
