Zenas7 Whitney (Aaron Wilkes6, Ebenezer5, David4, Joseph3, John2, Henry1), son of Aaron Wilkes6 and Sarah (Bennett) Whitney, was born 27 Jul 1814, Wilton, CT, and died 13 May 1897, Easton, CT. He was buried in Union Cemetery, Easton, CT.[1]

He married, 6 Nov 1837, Southport or Fairfield, CT, Drusilla F. Perry "both of Fairfield",[2] daughter of Nathan and Sarah (-----) Perry, of Weston. She was born 23 Jul 1816, Weston, CT, and died 6 Jan 1892, Easton, CT. She was buried in Union Cemetery, Easton, CT.[3]

Phoenix says the following:

"... a pattern-maker .... He lived in Bridgeport, CT, in 1867, and, a few years later, in New Haven, CT. He is said to be a Baptist preacher."

i. Cornelia Anne7 Whitney, b. 30 Mar 1839; m. 2 May 1865, Brooklyn, NY, Barnabas Bradford Baxter, of Hyannis, MA, who d. 7 Nov 1865.
ii. George Oliver Whitney, b. 26 Sep 1844; d. 18 Dec 1872, Tarrytown, NY; unmarried; graduated at Madison University, Hamilton, NY, in 1869; was ordained, and settled at Tarrytown, NY, as pastor of the Baptist Church.
iii. William Arthur Whitney, b. 13 Jan 1846; d. 5 Nov 1852, and was buried in the old Division Street Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT.
