Zeno W. Whitney, parentage unknown but perhaps the son of Ebenezer and Nancy (Stinson) Whitney, was born circa 1816, NC, and died 1877, Macon, GA. His middle name was perhaps Worth.
He married, firstly, Fanny Hawn. They obtained a marriage bond 14 Dec 1835, Lincoln Co., NC. The bondsman was Jacob Bolch and the witness was Abs Miller.[1]
He married, secondly, 1 Nov 1836, Forsyth Co., GA, Ruth Evans. She was born 4 Aug 1814, North Carolina, and died 1 Sep 1892, Macon, GA.
Z.W. Whitney also served in Capt. Caraker's Co., Georgia Infantry during the Civil War.
