Charles Andrew⁷ Whitney (John⁷, Andrew⁶, Abraham⁵, John⁴, Joseph³, John², John¹), son of John⁷ and Eliza Ann French (Watson) Whitney, was born 14 Nov 1834, Princeton, MA,^[1] and died 31 Dec 1912, Millbury, MA, aged 78 years 1 month 17 days, of artero sclerosis.^[2]

He "of Chicago, Ill." married, 29 Nov 1864, Millbury, MA, Martha Elizabeth Waters "of Millbury", daughter of Jonathan Edwards and Martha R. (Leland) Waters.^[3] She was born 1 Aug 1842, Millbury, MA, and died after 1920 (and probably before 1930).
