John A. Braddock Whitney (Samuel Wix, John), son of Samuel Wix and Loranda B. (Jones) Whitney, was born 17 Oct 1832, NY, and died before 1900.

He married, 7 Oct 1859, Ruth Elizabeth Shafner. She was born Jan 1840, NY, and died 24 Jan 1920. She was buried in Poplar Hill Cemetery, Elmwood, WI.[1]
