Nathaniel Whitney, parentage unknown, but probably the son of Nathaniel and Joanna (-----) Whitney, was born 1786, NH and died 10 NOV 1871, buried Riverside Cemetery, Gouverneur, St. Lawrence Co., NY. If he was in fact the son of Nathaniel and Joanna (-----) Whitney, he was b. 9 Apr 1786, Acworth, NH.

He married abt 1810, Clarissa Horr, parentage unknown. She was born about 1793, MA or NY, and died between 1873 (bur. Riverside Cemetery, Gouverneur, St Lawrence, NY.

i. John Whitney, b. 1819, married Adeline Mosher about 1845 probably Fowler, St. Lawrence, NY and second, Samantha Q. Kinney abt 1857.
