Nathaniel Whitney, parentage unknown, was born say 1760, and died after 1790.

He married, 1782, Joanna Hayward, daughter of Jacob and Joanna (Snell) Hayward. She was born 5 Nov 1760, Bridgewater, MA.

Children of Nathaniel and Joanna (Hayward) Whitney:

i. Lydia Whitney, b. 30 Jul 1783, Acworth, NH. m. John Paddock b 10 OCT 1780
ii. Nathaniel Whitney, b. 9 Apr 1786, Acworth, NH, "removed to Ohio". He is perhaps the same as Nathaniel Whitney (1786-1871).
