Sewell7 Whitney (Jonathan6, (prob.) Jonathan5, Samuel4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Jonathan6, Jr., and Deborah (Higgins) Whitney, was born 10 Jul 1806, Lisbon or Garland, ME,[1] and died 7 Jul 1857, ME. Both he and his wife are buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Corinth, ME.

He married Lucinda "Lucy" Craig, daughter of Samuel and Esther (-----) Craig. She was born 16 Nov 1802, Kenduskeag or Hudson, ME, and died 7 Jul 1890. She married secondly, 14 Oct 1860, Corinth, ME, Joseph Johnson, "both of Corinth".[2]

iv. Jonathan S. Whitney, b. 18 Jan 1828; m. Mary Elsie Cates. He was a veteran of the Civil War.

vi. Willard Harrison Whitney, b. 14 Jun 1835, East Corinth, ME; d. 1 Dec 1905; m. 24 May 1864, Clarra Lawrence.
