Thomas6 Whitney (Benjamin5, Joseph4, Joseph3, Jonathan2, John1), son of Benjamin5 and Rebecca (Fitch) Whitney, was born 15 Jul 1780, Pepperell, MA,[1] and died after 1860.

Marriage intentions were published, 6 Jan 1806, Pepperell, MA, for him and Betsey Wallis "of Tunbridge".[2] He married firstly Betsey Wallis. She was born 20 Jul 1784, and died 5 Feb 1826.

He married secondly, 13 Apr 1827, Brookfield, VT, Annie York, daughter of Gershom and Lois (Williams) York. She was born 25 Aug 1794, and died 9 Jun 1884.

He resided Tunbridge, VT.

i. Charles Fitch7 Whitney, b. 12 Dec 1806; m. Louisa Kemp.
ii. Olive Hall Whitney, b. 21 Jan 1810; d. 9 Mar 1875; m. 21 Oct 1838, Nathan G. Smith, b. 25 Jul 1803; d. 9 Feb 1873. He was a farmer.
