Timothy4 Whitney (John3, John2, John1), son of John3 and Elizabeth (Harris) Whitney, was born 16 Apr 1678, Roxbury, MA,[1] and died after 1736, probably Warwick, MA.[2]

Timothy married 12 Jun 1706, Roxbury, MA, Margaret Bacon,[3] daughter of Thomas and Mary (Gamlyn) Bacon. She was baptized 14 Jan 1682/3, Roxbury, MA,[4] and died 1 Oct 1750, Newton, MA.[5]

He lived at Warwick, MA. He lived in 1728 at Newton, MA.

"Timothy Whitney went from Roxbury to Newton, and in 1728, for £615, purchased a farm and buildings of John Prentice.[6]

After 27 Nov 1736, he was listed as one of the original grantees of Gardner's Canada (later Warwick, MA), on behalf of the service of his brother John4 Whitney, who died in the expedition of 1690 to Canada under Capt. Andrew Gardner.[7]
