William H.2 Whitney (James Henry1, William) son of James Henry1 and Charlotte (Wignall) Whitney, was born about 1855, Manchester, Lancashire, England, and died 26 Dec 1883, Lawrence, MA, aged 27 years 10 months 17 days, of dropsy.[1]

He married, 19 Apr 1879, Lawrence, MA, Ann Stormey, daughter of Robert and Bridget (-----) Stormey.[2] She was born about 1856, England.

i. James William3 Whitney, b. ca. 1880, MA; "of Lawrence" m. 30 Jun 1909, North Andover, MA [also recorded in Lawrence, MA], Mary Mowatt, of North Andover, b. ca. 1884, dau. of William and Sarah (Butterworth) Mowatt.[3]
