Jump to navigationJump to searchWilliam Markham7 Whitney (Joshua6, Joshua5, Matthias4, Cornelius3, Joshua2, John1), son of Joshua6 and Huldah (Markham) Whitney; born Parmey, New York, 7 Aug 1810; married in Rush, New York, in 1831, Rosina Craw; born 9 Dec 1814. She resided Gale, Oregon. He was a millwright, and worked extensively at his trade in Oregon. He died 30 Dec 1889; resided Cottage Grove, Oregon.
Children of William Markham7 and Rosina (Craw) Whitney:
i. Elkanah8 Whitney, born 24 Dec 1832; married Mary Ann White. ii. Jerome Whitney, born 8 Mar 1837; unmarried; resided Stockton, California. iii. Matilda Jane Whitney, born 29 Jul 1852; married ----- Turpin; resided Ceres, California.
