From: "Merry J. Whitney" <mjwhitney -at- earthlink.net> Subject: Re: [WHITNEY-L] Nathaniel Whitney Date: Sun, 05 Sep 2004 22:02:18 -0400 References: <[email protected]> In-Reply-To: <[email protected]> Dear Sandy, I'm certain Robert Ward and/or Al Green will have more (and better researched) info, but here's what I have as entry on some old family papers: "The site of the home of Nathaniel Whitney was on the road to Lexington, 1-1/2 miles from Weston. The cellar and well of the original home were still to be seen at the time the Whitney Geneology was published.* The place was then owned by Dr. Bradbury, who erected a fine country home on this site." This Nathaniel is John-1, John-2, Nathaniel-3 (married Sarah Hagar). Merry Whitney (mjwhitney -at- earthlink.net) * I have no clue when, or for that matter which, "Whitney Geneology" publication date is alluded to. I know my parents had these papers before 1947 or 1948, but again, no clue how long before that.
