My parents were Vernon Delbert Whitney and Frances Kathryn Coyel. I was born Feb. 1,1944. My grandparents were Delbert Edward Whitney and Marie ?. I am interested in my family geneology, but I don't have a lot of time to research and I really don't know how to go about it. My father was from Mass. and my mother was fron Texas. They met while my mom was working in Washington D.C. and were married in Chicago in 1942. They were divorced shortly after my birth and I met my dad and grandmother for the first time when I attended my grandfather Whitney's funeral in Oct. 1969.
