I live in the four corners area of Utah. I have 6 children all grown. Plenty of grandchildren. We live in a rural property surrounded by red rock cliffs and tall blue mountains to the south. We raise horses buffalo and some hogs.
My ancestry traces back through Massachusetts and Connecticut to Wales and then Normandy like most here. My first Whitney ancestor in America was named John and came across in 1635 on a ship called The Elizabeth and Ann. In the late 1800s my grandfather and his brother hopped a freight train and ended up in southern Idaho. After high school my mother, who was from Panguitch Utah, took a winter job in Sun Valley Idaho and met my dad. They moved back to Utah, had seven kids and here I am.
My fathers name is Paul Leonard Whitney, Mothers name Elizabeth Woodard
Grandfather Nathaniel Gilbert Whitney. Grandmother Mini Josephine Fleake
Great Grandfather John Stewart Whitney
