WoW
I saw your updated lineage and that you descend from the last generations of the senior line of the family - very interesting! do you have the generations of rodds etc. documented? Hope to see for of your info shared on the site!
Welcome.

faraday
suzanne! faraday is a good internet buddy of mine! got an email from him this morning. he should definitely help you out!
i noticed you posted your direct line back to the wow - if i may make a suggestion though, tim doyle when he gets back from vacation can help you out but you can link your pedigree to the main one contained in the website. i noticed some of the info you have has been updated a lot for example, james whitney, esq.,'s father robert whitney married firstly constance touchett and secondly elizabeth vaughan - most likely james was a son by the second wife although there is reason to suppose he could have been by constance. there are more things too about the earlier whitneys - if you search but tim can help you more with that in a few weeks!
Adding an image
Suzanne:
I saw that you had uploaded an image, and that you attempted to insert it onto your page. I took the liberty of adding in the name of the image that you had uploaded so that it would display on your page. Look at your page, then edit the page and see what is there that makes it display - it's really quite simple. If you have any questions, please let me know.

second whitney line
hi suzanne yes i was looking just now at what you have added!!! you have a most impressive pedigree. Yes, a couple points, one, you should know that my cousin tony hoskins published an article several years ago in england in which he makes the case that Henry Carey Lord Hunsdon was a bastard son of King Henry VIII by his then mistress mary boleyn sister of anne boleyn his future wife. of course we can never know for sure since we'd have to do a paternity test!!! some people don't believe it - others such as tony think it most likely given the evidence.
second, there has been confusion in a lot of printed and internet sources over the ancestry of lord hunsdon's wife and her whitney descent.
if you check the family page for james whitney of whitney d. 1500 you will see it was his daughter who married into the morgan of arkston family.
so your new whitney line is slightly older than how you have it right now but otherwise it looks great!
Also - the wife or Robert Whitney, Esq., Lord of Whitney d. 1496 married 2. Elizabeth ferch Thomas ap Roger or Elizabeth/Alice Vaughan.
Sir Eustace's wife and mother of Robert was Joan Trussell (see Plantagent Ancestry by Richardson in archives)
