Roger Whitney, parentage unknown, but had a brother John Whitney, and one of the witnesses to his will was a certain Richard Whitney (possibly the son of John of that name). He died before the date of his will, 4 Nov 1560, Kinnersley, Herefordshire, England.

He married Joane -----, who is named in her husband's will, 1560.

He is mentioned in the will of his brother John, 23 Jan 1566, Kinnersley.

Children:

i. John Whitney, mentioned in his father's will, 1560.
