Ezekiel5 Whitney (Ezekiel4, Ebenezer3, Richard2, John1), son of Ezekiel4 and Isabel (Taylor) Whitney, was born 22 Oct 1729, Pomfret, CT,[1] and died Feb 1814, Plainfield, CT.

He married firstly, 17 Mar 1757, Plainfield, CT, Elizabeth Knight,[2] daughter of John and Susannah (Day) Knight. She was born 22 Dec 1737, Killingly, CT.

He married secondly, Feb 1770, Plainfield, CT, Deborah Tryal.

He married thirdly, 3 Sep 1772, Plainfield, CT, Desire Landers.

Children of Ezekiel5 and Elizabeth (Knight) Whitney, all born Plainfield, CT:

i. Ezekiel6 Whitney, b. 15 May 1758;[3] d. 25 Apr 1835, Waterford, NY; m. 17 Nov 1788, Stamford, CT, Phebe Hoyt.
ii. Lucy Whitney, b. 31 Dec 1761; d. 10 Oct 1767, Plainfield.
iii. Asa Whitney, b. 8 Oct 1763.
iv. Ebenezer Whitney, b. 20 Mar 1767. He may have been the man of this name enumerated in 1810 and 1830 in Pleasant Valley, Dutchess Co., NY. If so, he may have been the father of Family:Whitney, Asa (c1805-1863).
v. Riskcum Whitney, b. 28 Jul 1769; d. 16 Jan 1771, Plainfield, CT.

Ezekiel5 and Deborah (Tryal) Whitney had no children.

Ezekiel5 and Desire (Landers) Whitney had no children.
