Alexander8 Whitney (Artemas Hammond7, John Smith6, Thomas5, Thomas4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), son of Artemas Hammond7 and Nabby (Skinner) Whitney, was born 25 Oct 1824, Dana, MA.
He married firstly, 28 Nov 1846, Ludlow, MA, Maria Hayden. She was born 29 Dec 1824, and died 28 May 1881.
He married secondly, 14 Dec 1882, Mrs. Lucy Plumly Keith. She was born 8 May 1828.
He is a farmer; resided North Wilbraham, MA.
Children of Alexander8 and Maria (Hayden) Whitney:
i. Rosetta9 Whitney, b. 15 Sep 1847; d. 10 Mar 1848. ii. Charles M. Whitney, b. 20 Jun 1854; d. Nov 1854. iii. Clara Whitney, b. 28 Dec 1856; d. 13 Jun 1863.
