He married Ann -----. She was born circa 1843, Winsford, Cheshire, England, died before 1910.
In 1851 he resided in Castle Northwich Township (now part of Northwich), Cheshire, England with his parents.
In 1861 he was a unmarried saddler lodging in Runcorn.
