Samuel2 Widney (Charles1, James), son of Charles1 and Mary Dolly (Henderson) Whitney, was born 29 Jul 1796, Franklin Co., PA, and died ca. 1855, DeKalb Co., IN.

He married, 22 May 1822, Joanna Brearley. She was born circa 1804, PA.

Children of Samuel2 and Joanna (Brearley) Widney:

i. Charles3 Widney, b. ca. 1826, PA.
ii. Joseph Widney, b. ca. 1829, PA.
iii. Mary Widney, b. ca. 1831, PA.
iv. John Widney, b. ca. 1834, PA.
