Samuel7 Whitney (Samuel6, Samuel5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Samuel6 and Phebe (Harrington) Whitney, was born 18 Apr 1774, Marlboro, VT, and died Feb 1846, Kirtland, OH.
He married, 7 Apr 1792, Susanna Kimball. She was born 24 Jul 1769, Mendon, MA, and died after 1840. They joined the Mormons and died in that colony and were buried in Kirtland. He resided Marlboro, VT, and Kirtland, OH.

He left a son, Samuel F., Jr., who resides at Mentor Plains, Lake County, OH, and the latter's dau., Mrs. A. G. Reynolds, resided at Painesville, OH. vii.
