Jesse7 Whitney (Joel6, Jonas5, Jonas4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Joel6 and Lydia (Willard) Whitney, was born 8 Nov 1794, Fitzwilliam, NH, and died 4 Jul 1849, OH, of typhoid fever.
He married 12 May 1825, Butler Co., OH, Martha Flowers.[1] She died before 5 Sep 1849, Hancock Co., OH [sic: she was living at the 1850 and 1860 censuses].
With his brother Joel he went to Ohio, where he married and followed agricultural pursuits. He amassed quite a fortune. Resided in Ohio.
