William Emerson8 Whitney (Solomon Blair7, Peter6, Timothy5, Jonas4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Solomon Blair7 and Mary (Ware) Whitney, was born 9 Nov 1821, Houndsfield, NY.

He married, 9 Jun 1847, Birmingham, MI, Hannah Lapham Pratt, of Macedon, NY. She was born 8 Sep 1824.

He has been justice of the peace for over 20 years; resided Rockford, Michigan.
