Jonathan6 Whitney (David5, Jonathan4, Jonathan3, Benjamin2, John1), son of David5 and Rachel (Rawson) Whitney, was born 13 Mar 1770, Conway, MA,[1] and died 27 Sep 1855, Conway, MA, aged 87 years [sic].[2]

He married 13 Jan 1791, Conway, MA, Lucy Washburn.[3] She was born about 1770, and died 23 Sep 1844, Conway, MA, aged 74, of suicide.[4]

He resided Conway, MA.

In 1830, Jonathan and his wife were recorded in Conway, Franklin Co., MA. Residing with them were almost certainly their son Orlando, his wife, and children. The family consisted of 1 male 60-69 (Jonathan Whitney), 1 female 60-69 (Lucy), 1 male 30-39 (son Orlando), 1 female 20-29 (daughter-in-law Phebe), 1 male 5-9 (grandson Alfred), 1 male 0-4 (grandson Andrew), and 1 female 0-4 (granddaughter Amelia).
