Augustus7 Whitney (John6, Ephraim5, Jonas4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of John6 and Hannah (Bigelow) Whitney, was born 20 May 1788, Petersham, MA,[1] and died 2 Oct 1861, Chester, VT.
He married firstly, 14 Nov 1816, Springfield, VT, Abigail Spooner, daughter of Benjamin and Maria (Langsford) Spooner. She was born 18 Jul 1792, Springfield, VT.
He married secondly, Susan -----. She was born about VT.
