Isaac7 Whitney (David6, Nathan5, David4, Benjamin3, John2, John1), born Mar. 14, 1806; married 9 Sep 1832, Susan Barrett; born 25 Sep 1808; died 24 Mar 1842; married second 22 Sep 1842, Eliza Perkins. He died 4 Aug 1846; resided Newark, Illinois.

i. Lucius8 Whitney, born 24 Feb 1836; married Harriett J. Longhead. ii. John Howard Whitney, born 5 Jul 1840; unm.; was corporal in County. F. 86 111. Vol. Infantry, and was killed by gun shot at Resaca Georgia, 14 May 1864. iii. Susan Barrett Whitney, born 4 Nov 1842; married 21 May 1868, in Morris, Illinois, James Webster Olson; resided Santa Rosa, California. He was born Aug. 18, 1839. - Ch.: Adda L., born in Linn County, Kansas, 18 Apr 1869; died 28 May 1884, at Onawa, Kansas; Edyth Whitney, born 6 Apr 1872, in Quenemo, Osage County, Kansas; Bertha Pauline Chamberlain, born 15 Jul 1875, in Ottawa, Franklin County, Kansas; Mary Webster Geraldine, born 24 Apr 1881, in Williamsburg, Franklin County, Kansas.
