Erastus Frank8 Whitney (Jasper7, Ami6, Jonathan5, Jonathan4, Jonathan3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Jasper7 and Elizabeth (Gunwer) Whitney, was born 31 Aug 1836, Thompson, OH, and died after 1872.

He married, 8 Aug 1861, Sandusky Co., OH, Lucinda Hamburger. She was born 22 Feb 1840, and died 26 Jun 1876.

He resided Bowling Green, OH.

i. Rosa Etta9 Whitney, b. 1863, OH; d. 1891, North Judson, IN; m. John G. Benkie. They had three children two surviving her. He married again and resided Koutz, IN.
