Abraham6 Whitney (Isaac5, Benjamin4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Isaac5 and Sarah (Trufant) Whitney, was born 2 Apr 1792, Lisbon, ME,[1] and died 10 Jul 1826, Lisbon, ME.[2]

Intentions of marriage were published 7 Feb 1818, Lisbon, ME, for him "3rd" "of Lisbon" and Judith Francis "of Lisbon",[3] daughter of John and Rebecca (Cole) Francis. She was born 31 Jul 1797, Lewiston, ME, and died after 1880. She married secondly, between 1840 and 1850, William Winslow, born 3 Apr 1791, Westbrook, ME, and died May 1869, ME, as his second wife.

Children of Abraham6 and Judith (Francis) Whitney:

i. (prob.) John F.7 Whitney, b. 1821, d. 1895, Brunswick, ME; m. Martha S. Hacker.
ii. {prob.) (daughter)7 Whitney, b. say 1823, known from 1840 census.
iii. {prob.) (daughter) Whitney, b. say 1825, known from 1840 census.

Notes

Even though he is called Abraham Whitney 3rd in the marriage intentions, it was probably Abraham Whitney 2nd who is meant, especially since his widow lived on until at least 1880.
