John F.7 Whitney ([prob.] Abraham6, Isaac5, Benjamin4, John3, Benjamin2, John1), probably son of Abraham6 and Judith (Francis) Whitney, was born in March 1821 and was baptized 4 Mar 1821, Brunswick, ME,[1] and died 29 Nov 1895, East Livermore, ME.[2]

He married, date and place unknown, Martha S. Hacker, daughter of Daniel and Hannah (Sawyer) Hacker. She was born 25 June 1826, Brunswick, ME,[3] and died 18 Jan 1903, Jay, ME.[4]

Both are buried in Riverside Cemetery, Brunswick, ME.

v. Elmira "Myra" Jane Whitney, bapt. 7 Feb 1860, Brunswick, ME;[12] m. 21 Sep 1878, Canton, ME, "Mr." Alfred Nelson Gray.[13], the son of William and Marguerite (Toothaker) Gray. He was born 20 Oct 1849 in Richmond, ME, and died 1 June 1921 in Livermore Falls, ME. Myra died in 1927. They are both buried in the Riverside Cemetery in Brunswick, ME.
vi. Elsie Edith Whitney, b. 2 July 1867 in Brunswick, ME; "Miss" m. first, 16 Oct 1885, North Livermore, ME, "Mr." Stephen D. Alden.[14]. She married secondly, 24 Dec 1898 in Livermore Falls, ME, George L. Ridley, the son of James and Elizabeth (Thompson) Ridley. He was born Sept 1858 in East Livermore, ME. Elsie was his second marriage. She died 1 July 1920 in Livermore Falls, ME, and was buried 3 days later in the Riverside Cemetery in Brunswick, ME
