Abraham⁸ Whitney (Christopher⁷, Abraham⁶, Abraham⁵, Abraham⁴, Moses³, Richard², John¹), son of Christopher⁷ and Dolly (Brooks) Whitney, was born 28 Sep 1837.

He married firstly, Jul 1865, Mary Elizabeth Swain. She was born 25 Jul 1814, and died 28 Feb 1874.

He married secondly, Elizabeth A. Whitcomb. She was born about 1845, MA, and died after 1880.

He resided Pittsfield, NH, and Lynn, MA.
