Davis S.8 Whitney (Salmon7, Salmon6, Jonas5, Jonas4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Salmon7 and Eliza (Sumner) Whitney, was born 2 Oct 1824, Boston, MA, and died 8 Apr 1908, Boston, MA, aged 83 years 6 months 6 days, of angina pectoris.[1]
He married 24 May 1883, Boston, MA, Sarah Thayer (Penniman) Belcher of South Braintree, daughter of Gardner and Relief (Thayer) Penniman.[2] She was born 5 May 1824, South Braintree, MA, and died after 1908. She had married firstly, 2 Feb 1843, Braintree, MA, Nathaniel T. Belcher, who died 15 Mar 1858, Braintree, MA.
He resided at 5 Puritan Ave., Boston, MA; s.p.
