Dr. Harrison9 Whitney (Edward Kendall8, Freeman7, Enoch6, Moses5, Nathaniel4, Nathaniel3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Edward Kendall8 and Arvilla (Caswell) Whitney, was born 21 Oct 1858, Harrison, Maine, and died 8 Dec 1927, Portland, Maine.
He married firstly, Theresa Althea Brown, daughter of Warren Q. and Ella J. (Bartlett) Brown. She was born about 1884, ME, and died of influenza.
He married secondly, 1919, Cora Alice Brown, daughter of Warren Q. and Ella J. (Bartlett) Brown. She was born about 1886, ME.

Dr. Whitney was a member of the American Veterinary Society and served for a time as president of the Connecticut State Veterinary Society. He maintained a constant interest in public affairs and government and was at one time a candidate for Connecticut State Legislature.
