Samuel6 Whitney ([prob.] Samuel5, Eleazer4, Eleazar3, Thomas2, John1), probably son of Samuel5 and Lavinia (Bigelow) Whitney, was born say 1785, Alstead, NH, and died before 1850.

Intentions of marriage were published 8 Nov 1808, Charlestown, MA, for him "Mr." "of Boston" and "Miss" Frances Goodenow "of Charlestown".[1]. He married, 28 Nov 1808, Boston, MA, Frances Goodenow.[2] She was born about 15 Jan 1787, Sudbury, MA, and died 5 Jan 1857, Boston, MA, aged 69 years 11 months 20 days, of consumption.[3]
