Orlando⁶ Whitney (James⁵, [prob.] James⁴, Eleazer³, Thomas², John¹), son of James⁵ and Mary (Thayer) Whitney, was born 30 Nov 1766, Winchester, NH, and died 5 March 1848, Kirby, VT, aged 82 years. He was buried in North Kirby Cemetery, Kirby, VT.

Marriage intentions were published 3 Sep 1791, Lunenburg, MA, for him "of Ludlow" and Asenath Stiles "of Lunenburg".^[1] He married 16 Feb 1792, Lunenburg, MA, or Ludlow, VT, Asaneth Stiles,^[2] daughter of Jacob and Abigail (Lincoln) Stiles. She was born 27 Jan 1768, Keene, NH, and died 14 Sep 1854, Kirby, VT. She was buried in North Kirby Cemetery, Kirby, VT.

He resided Ludlow and Saint Johnsbury, VT.
