Silas7 Whitney, Jr. (Silas6, David5, Benjamin4, Thomas3, Thomas2, John1), son of Silas6 and Jane (Pearson) Whitney, was born 12 Jun 1762, Princeton, MA,[1] baptized 15 Aug 1762, Rutland, MA, and died Saint Armand, Quebec.

He married, before 1789, Esther Weeks. She may be the Esther Weeks born 25 August 1771, Woodbury, CT, daughter of John and Thankful (Slade) Weeks.

He may have been the Silas Whitney, Jr., who was a petitioner in 1788, Chittenden Co., VT.

He bought of Col. Thomas Sawyer the mill rights at the village in Salisbury, VT.

He resided Saint Armand, Quebec.

i. Nancy Whitney, b. 22 Feb 1789; d. 29 Sep 1789, Salisbury, VT.
ii. Jerusah Whitney, b. 3 Aug 1790.
iii. Silas P. Whitney, b. 22 May 1792. He may be the Silas Whitney "of Bridgewater" who m. 25 Feb 1818, Sharon, VT, Sharon, VT.
iv. John C. Whitney, b. 18 March 1794.
iv. Esther Whitney, b. 25 Dec 1796.
