Asaph S.⁷ Whitney (Daniel Thayer⁶, James⁵, [prob.] James⁴, Eleazer³, Thomas², John¹), son of Daniel⁶ and Content (Stiles) Whitney, was born 5 Apr 1804, Saint Johnsbury, VT, and died after 1880.

He married, 13 Nov 1827, Medway, MA, Abigail Harding Miller,^[1] daughter of Daniel and Keziah (Adams) Miller. She was born 11 Nov 1804, and died 10 Feb 1873.

He resided Plymouth, VT.
