Hiram7 Whitney (Daniel Thayer6, James5, [prob.] James4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), son of Daniel6 and Content (Stiles) Whitney, was born 1818, Plymouth, VT, and died after 1880.

He married, Proctorsville (in Cavendish), VT, or 17 Nov 1831, Reading, VT, Arvilla Herrick.[1] She was born 1819, and died Mar 1846.

He married secondly, 1 Apr 1849, Plymouth, VT, Harriet P. Ellis.[2] She was born about 1820, NH, and died between 1850 and 1860.

He was a farmer; resided Plymouth, VT.
