He married 19 Mar 1851, Morrow Co., OH, Elizabeth Ann Vail,[2] daughter of Benjamin T. and Mary Ann (Crane) Vail. She was born circa 1833, OH, and died 9 Sep 1872, Gilead, OH. She married secondly 4 Sep 1859, Morrow Co., OH, Charles G. Germain.
