Lyman6 Whitney (Samuel5, Samuel4, Richard3, John2, Henry1), son of Samuel5 and (probably) Rebecca (Banks) Whitney, was born about 1770, Greenfield, CT, and died 30 Oct 1829, Bloomfield, OH.[1]

He married, 4 Aug 1794, Bridgeport, CT, Mabel Wheeler, daughter of Daniel and Eleanor (Middlebrook) Wheeler. She was born about 1773, Greenfield, CT, baptized 6 Sep 1786, Greenfield, CT, and probably died after 1830, OH.

Phoenix says the following:
