Charles D.8 Whitney (Sidney Stearns7, Samuel6, Elijah5, Abraham4, Isaiah3, Thomas2, John1), son of Sidney Stearns7 and Mary C. (Getchell) Whitney, was born 6 Apr 1844, and died after 1920.

He "of Boston" married firstly, 12 Oct 1868, Cambridgeport or Cambridge, MA, Hannah S. Eaton "of Cambridge", daughter of Jacob and Louisa (-----) Eaton.[1] She was born 3 Mar 1850, Cambridge, MA, and died 31 Aug 1884, Boston, MA, aged 34 years 5 months 28 days, of chronic nephritis.[2]

He married secondly, 30 May 1893, Boston, MA, Emma A. Longley, both of Boston, daughter of Francis A. and Elizabeth E. (-----) Longley.[3] She was born about 1850, and died after 1920.

He resided Allston, MA.
