Family:Whitney, Luther (1780-a1820)

Luther⁶ Whitney (Joshua⁵, Eleazer⁴, Eleazer³, Thomas², John¹), son of Joshua⁵ and Betty (Wood) Whitney, was born 25 Jul 1780, Henniker, NH,^[1] and died after 1820.

He married firstly, 13 Jan 1803, Henniker, NH, Hannah Gordon.^[2] She was born 24 Jun 1778, and died 13 Dec 1804.

He married secondly, 26 Jun 1806, Washington, NH, Lydia "Nabby" Wood.^[3] She was born 9 May 1777, MA, and died 16 Jan 1816 [but see census records below, where she is living with her daughter Orpha].

He resided Henniker, Canaan, and Washington, NH, and Saratoga, NY.
