Notes
Lawrence's death record gives his birth in Brighton, and his parents George and Elizabeth, which places him rather clearly in this family, but he does not appear in the family in 1850, 1855, 1860, or 1865, and he is not found in 1870. Neither is any marriage record found. It is hard to explain this.
