James6 Whitney (James5, James4, Joseph3, Jonathan2, John1), son of James5 and Sarah (Lund) Whitney, was born 12 Feb 1769, Dunstable, MA.[1]

Marriage intentions were published 25 Dec 1791, for him and Lidea Spaulding "of Dunstable".[2] He "of Tyngsborough" married, 26 Jan 1792, Dunstable, MA, Lydia Spaulding "of Dunstable, N.H.",[3] daughter of Abel and Lydia (Powers) Spaulding. She was born 22 Mar 1770, Dunstable, MA, and died 1851, Hartford, OH. The marriage was also recorded in Dunstable, NH.[4]
