He married, 23 Dec 1841, Ashtabula Co., OH, Calista/Celestia Vosburg,[1] daughter of Martin and Lavina (Carruth) Vosburg. She was born 4 Apr 1820, Pierpont, OH, and died 31 Aug 1907, New Castle, PA, aged 87 years 4 months 27 days, of chronic gastritis.[2] She was buried in Conneaut, OH.
