Francis Alexander8 Whitney (Ohio7, Silas6, Samuel5, William4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Ohio7 and Mary (Bolton) Whitney, was born 2 Aug 1823, Ashburnham, MA,[1] and died 28 Apr 1887, Ashburnham, MA, aged 63 years. of heart and dropsy.[2]
He married firstly, 6 Jan 1852, Fitchburg, MA, Lucy Matilda Lane, daughter of Elias and Anna (Jones) Lane.[3] She was born 30 Jun 1829, Ashburnham, MA, and died 16 Aug 1861, Ashburnham, MA, aged 32 years 1 month 17 days, of chronic diarrhea.[4]
