Benjamin W.8 Whitney (Alvares7, Ezekiel6, Ezekiel5, John4, Benjamin3, John2, John1), son of Alvares7 and Catharine (Larabee) Whitney, was born circa 15 May 1827, East Cambridge or Watertown, MA, and died 4 Aug 1870, Hudson [also recorded in Bolton], MA, aged 43 years 2 months 19 days, of consumption.[1]

He, of Lancaster, married, 3 Oct 1856, Bolton, MA, Jane C. Marsh, of Clinton, daughter of John and Ann (-----) Marsh.[2] She was born about 1832, Pictou, NS, and died 24 Apr 1901, Worcester, MA, aged 64 years.
